Beginner Guitar Class
Monday nights from 6:30pm – 8pm
Our 6-week group guitar class is for students ages 10 and up who have never played or are just beginning on the guitar. Acoustic or classical guitars are recommended, but students may also bring an electric guitar. Classes will go from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. starting on Monday, November 12, and concluding on Monday, December 17. All students will receive a basic guitar book and learn basic notes, chords, scales, and some simple songs. Call us at 810-775-3476 to register or use our online registration below.

* Guitar picks
Class Goals
* Basic Note Reading
* Basic Rhythm Reading in 4/4
* 3 basic scales (C Major Pentatonic, E minor Pentatonic, C Major)
* Tuning the Guitar
* 5 Basic Strumming Patterns culminating in classic strum
* C, G, Em, D chords
* Basic Finger-picking
* Basic improvisation with E minor Pentatonic Scale
* Brown Eyed Girl
