Group Singing Classes at Brighton Music Academy
Welcome to Brighton Music Academy’s group singing classes, where singers come together to develop their vocal skills in an inspiring and collaborative setting. Our group singing classes offer students the chance to explore music with others, learning to harmonize, perform, and build lasting friendships. Designed to benefit singers at any level, these classes combine vocal training with the energy of a group environment, making learning to sing both fun and rewarding.
Our current program, Vocal Velocity, is a Glee club-style class led by our talented instructor, Leah Tribble. Vocal Velocity invites students to experience the joy of singing popular songs together, focusing on harmony, rhythm, and stage presence. With two age groups—one for ages 6-10 and another for ages 11 and up—students can join others at a similar level, making it easier to learn and connect with peers. Through small performances, students gain experience and confidence, while also learning the fundamentals of vocal performance.
Group singing classes offer unique advantages beyond individual instruction:
- Confidence: Singing in a group can reduce stage fright, allowing students to feel supported and comfortable on stage. They gain confidence, knowing they have peers by their side.
- Motivation: Observing other students’ growth encourages participants to keep striving for improvement, setting achievable goals and celebrating each other’s successes.
- Friendship: Group singing classes foster camaraderie and teamwork, offering students the chance to make new friends and learn the value of working together in harmony.
At Brighton Music Academy, we are committed to expanding our group singing classes to offer even more opportunities for young singers to develop their skills and build their confidence. Join us and experience the magic of singing as part of a team!d their confidence and stage presence through small performances.
